To bid via commission bids, telephone or in person, you must register with us. Registration is a straightforward process where you will be asked to provide:
- A completed registration form, available on the day of sale or available for download here
- Personal ID (i.e. driving licence, current utility bill or bank statement)
- Credit or debit card details
Our buyers premium is 20% + VAT (24% inclusive)

Flints offer full online bidding via www.the-saleroom.com. To bid online, simply register at the-saleroom.com in advance and visit the sale on the day of the sale. Please note that if you bid through the-saleroom.com, you will be charged an additional 3% + VAT commission on the hammer price.
Commission bids may be left with us up until 9am the morning of the sale, and we will undertake to buy on your behalf for the lowest possible price, taking into account any reserves and competing bidders.
It is possible to bid via telephone on higher value lots, however due to limited telephone lines we issued these on a first come, first served basis. When reserving a telephone line, we always ask for a back-up bid which will only come into effect if we cannot reach you, or get disconnected and are unable to reconnect.
