Sixth plate Daguerreotype showing a young lady sitted, holding a letter with a thoughtful look on her face. She is wearing jewellery which is beautifully hand tinted. Housed in a case embossed Kilburn. William Edward Kilburn had a studio on Regent st. in London. He made early Daguerreotypes of the Royal Family.
A quarter plate Daguerreotype by Joseph Atkins of Brooklyn c1848-49. Matte is stamped "Atkins". Case split, image with oxidation.
A quarter plate ambrotype of a young girl with a toy spade, slightly out of focus, hand tinted.
