An Everard-type Excise Officer's Slide Rule

English, c. 1830, four-slide boxwood Imperial measure slide rule by Laban Cook, the stock stamped 'Cook Maker to the Honble Board of Excise, Late Wellington, Crown Court, Soho London No. 5026', upper face with four inlaid brass gauge-points, G on slide, G, MS, MR on stock, 30.5cm.

Condition Report: Good overall condition with signs of use and wear. No cracks, splits or losses apart from wear or small worn chips at the end of one slide. No warping and all slides operate smoothly, all scales legible. Please see online images.
