English, dated 1847, engraved 'COUNTY OF LANCASTER ORMSKIRK DIVISION, 1847' all numbered 965, all with calibration verification and Exchequer marks, capacities engraved as 'IMPERIAL QUART; IMPERIAL PINT; IMPERIAL HALF PINT; IMPERIAL GILL; IMPERIAL HALF GILL and IMPERIAL QUARTER GILL', in a leather-covered wooden travel case lined with black baize
Note: the small Imperil Quarter Gill measure is a later replacement from 1879 but stamped with the same serial number of 965.
