The views are hand tinted, showing views in Germany and Russia.

The Kaiser-Panorama was invented by August Fuhrmann. It is a large, circular apparatus with seats for 25 people, viewing up to 50 stereoviews. They became so popular, that panoramas were installed in 250 locations, with a choice of 1 000 different image series to view. The panoramas heyday was in the 1880s.
