Notes: Reportedly a few black Contax II cameras were produced to test the acceptance of the black paint finish. Underneath the sections where the paint is worn, it appears this camera has not been chromed. Only to the top surface it appears a white undercoat has been applied but is not visible anywhere else and crazing is also noticeable around the word 'Contax' on the front. Leather covering not to 'production' standard.
