Album containing 33 albumen prints, 9 x 11 inch, by John Saché and 1 print inscribed Saché and Murray. Pasted in album verso and recto. Views include images in Calcutta, Delhi, Agra, Lucknow, Bombay, Hymelia and Nainital. Caves of Elephants and Tower in Residency images. The album dates from 1868-72.

Condition: Well presented album with titles below images. Some yellowing to images, some edge fading, light surface marks. Some images have scattered white spots from processing. Most have good contrast.Very good and complete binding.

John Saché (1824-1882) was resident in India from the early 1860s to early 1870s. His career is not well documented. (Hugh Ashley Raynor).
