1936, black paint, serial no. K59035, with Carl Zeiss Jena Sonnar f/2 50mm lens, chome, serial no. 2040533, body, F-G, shutter working, drop impact to base, leather replaced, lens, VG, some light internal haze; Reportedly a few black Contax II cameras where produced to test the acceptence of the black paint finish. Underneath the secions where the paint is worn, it appears this camera has not been chromed. Only to the top surface it appears a white undercoat has been applied but is not visiable anywhere else and crazing is also noticable around the word 'Contax' on the front. Leather covering no to 'production' standard.
