Notes from the Vendor: I bought the Gowlandflex about six years ago from an Australian gentleman who was living in London. He told me that, some years before, he was living in California and happened to have in his possession two 210mm Schneider lenses. He phoned Peter Gowland who was at that time in his nineties and asked him if he still had any Gowlandflex bodies. Peter said that yes he had four of five still and, in view of his age, was quite willing to sell one and invited the Australian to bring himself and his two lenses over. They had a very pleasant conversation while Peter fitted the lenses onto one of the very last model Gowlandflex bodies.

Peter Gowland passed away in 2010.
