A Nikon Fisheye-Nikkor f/5.6 10mm Lens

black, serial no. 180349, body, G-VG, elements, VG, complete with 10mm finder and maker’s caps; Engraved ‘David Cover St.Croix, VI’ to side. Provenance: David Leighton Cover 1942 - 2008 of Estate Rattan, US Virgin Is. b. Kingston, Jamaica to Albert and Doreen Cover. Survived by his son David Albert Cover and daughter-in-law Richelle of Hampton, Virginia. A professional photographer, & long time resident of St. Croix. He worked for the Government of the Virgin Islands as chief photographer, in PR in the governor’s office for four administrations and the V.I. Legislature until he retired. Cover contributed greatly in promoting the islands, in particular St. Croix, having had photo spreads in numerous publications including the New York Times, Vogue and Travel magazines.
