Note: Originally introduced for Christmas 1927, the Edison Bell Picturegram Gramophone was designed as a nursery toy, though it featured quite a complex mechanism. Essentially a portable gramophone, the device included a "proscenium" where a paper cartoon strip would unroll, synchronized with a nursery rhyme story playing on a record, thanks to a geared linkage system. The machine came with three records, all performed by Harry Hemsley, offering both visual and auditory entertainment for children. originally Introduced for Christmas 1927, this machine was intended as a nursery toy, albeit a complicated one. Condition: speed regulator is not working mechanism runs fast. the records are old king cole, cinderella, broken and glued, the three bears & sing a song of sixpence, drifting & dreaming broken, red riding hood part 1 & 2, rolls are Old king cole & three jolly dogs, sing a song of sixpence & hey diddle diddle and little red riding hood with no box
