Comprising, an English pair of 6.5in dividers, c.1900, signed 'Cooke Troughton & Simms, York, London, Capetown', German silver with steel points, in a leather case, the other set of 9inch dividers by Stanley, London, both uncased
Footnote: this design incorporating hook ends meant that the points could be resharpened without affecting the scales on the instrument.
