English, mid 19th Century, plaque for 'Burfield Chymist, 180 Strand', the large French polished mahogany case with recessed campaign style handles, opening front revealing 17 stoppered bottles (2 replacements) drawers below with small bottles and jars, plaster iron, silver funnel, measure, mortar and pestle, and other items, section at the back behind sliding door containing a further 5 large bottles, case 38cm tall
