German, c.1930, engraved 'CARL ZEISS JENA Nr 305939' the microscope arranged on a 'U' shaped base with 2 identical microscope stages with Abbe type substage condensers, plano-concave mirrors, triple nose pieces with 2 sets of identical LOMO objectives, with beam splitting prism housing

Note: possibly used by forensics for ballistics identification.
