French, 19th/early 20th century, a large finely detailed polychrome painted papier-mache model of the internal structure of the human brain, numerous parts numbered and labeled, parts hinge or detach to reveal further structure, appears unsigned probably because signed element missing, mounted on cast iron tripod base, one foot broken, 49cm high on base.
