Gold and Silver Antique Spectacles

a pair of 19th century gold frames spectacles, French, c.1820-1840, in 18ct gold, with French eagle's head hallmarks, turnpin sides with loops, negative lenses, in dark red Morocco covered case; with a pair of silver spectacles, hallmarked Sheffield 1820, with straight sliding arms, positive lenses, no case.

Condition Report: The gold frame has one old repait and one of the nosepiece wires is fractured, lenses in good condition, hinges probably both repaired, turnpin hinges good and tight, lenses good. The silver frame is intact, hinges rather loose, screws/rivets probably replaced, lenses good
