(long); second, France, 20th Century, stamped BRUNEAU, metal link chain, with two detachable metal handles – 44cm. (long); the third, English, early 20th Century, Arnold & Sons, metal detachable handles, link chain and blunt-pointed needle, in plush and velvet-lined, leatherette case – 12cm. x 6.5cm.

Note: First previously bought at Christie’s, South Kensington 13th August, 1998 (Lot 79). The second previously bought David Stanley Auctions, 30th March 1996 (Lot 241). The third at Christie’s, South Kensington 1st June 2000 (Lot 70).
