Victorian Induction Coil, Alfred Apps
English, c.1890, plaque for 'APPS, 433 Strand, London,. Patent 863' the coil on a large French polished mahogany plinth base, with spark gap insulators to the front, polarity switch and breaker to the right, long primary coil with secondary coil both in vulcanite, all in the original case with instructions to inside of lid, case 48cm wide.
