An Early Victorian Medicine Chest

English, dated from records 1802 - 42, the chest stamped 'SPRINGWEILER & Co, MAKERS LONDON' accompanying the chest is a typed letter dated 4th June 1946 from Westminster Public Library with information concerning the dates that Springweiler worked and what he made including medicine chests, constructed of French polished mahogany, double doors opening to reveal 12 bottles in fitted compartments, the drawer with lift out tray containing a small steel & brass balance, below is fitted to take a glass mortar and pestle, glass jars, bottles and other items, case width
