English, 19^th Century, by Savigny, steel with lignum vitae with ferrule handles, comprising a scissors, tweezers and six scalpels and needles, contained in a plush-lined, tooled leather case – 15cm. x 6.8cm. x 2cm.; and an 18^th Century, cased dental scaling set, with six steel scalers with turned lignum vitae handles, contained in a fitted, silk (wear) and plush-lined, shagreen case (some damage around hinges) – 11cm. x 6cm. x 1.5cm.
