English, c.1900, plaque to the front for 'PHILIP HARRIS & CO LTD, Scientific Instrument Specialists Birmingham', the machine on a recangular mahogany base with tall mahogany uprights supporting the disk on bearings, with large crank handle to the front, static collectos to each side held on an insulated curved arm, with green leather covered pads on adjustable clamps, height 53.5cm
