The practical engineer, 1896. Vol 13. Jan-June. Manchester, article entitled “The new photography”. February the 21st of 1896.
Talking about the discovery of Röntgen and the X-rays and the “new photography”, Despite the discovery of X-rays was done in November 1895, it was the publication in Die Presse in January 1896 (The first announcement of the discovery of X-rays in the media in history), when the news rapidly spread worldwide, being this article “The new photography” one of the earliest in the United Kingdom to talk about the discovery in a scientific publication. - The practical engineer is filled with technical publications and fabulous sketches and diagrams from the world of engineering, from motors, cars, valves, trains, and all kind of new development for the date.

Scientific American, 8th February 1896, Prof. Roentgen´s Discovery on the first page, one of the first papers in America announcing the discovery of the X-rays.
