A Pair of Harbeth Mastering Series Professional Monitor Loudspeaker 40
A matched pair of Harbeth 40 studio monitoring loudspeakers, serial numbers M40 274R and M40 274L, in eucalyptus. The Monitor 40 was Harbeth’s first design of a direct replacement for the BBC LS5/8 studio monitor. The large M40 features a 3-way design, with a 25mm Seas dome tweeter, a 200mm Harbeth RADIAL midrange driver and a 300mm Vifa woofer. The M40 is characterised by an elevated bass response. Sensitivity is 84dB/W/m into 4 ohms. In excellent condition with no damage to the cabinets or grilles. Some minor daylight bleaching to the edges of the top cabinet surfaces.
