Paris, second half of 19th Century, by FQUE D’INSTS DE CHIRURGIE, LÜER PARIS, PLGE DE L’ÉCOLE DE MÉDECINE 3, a composite surgical set including some instruments stamped LÜER, eight tortoiseshell folding scalpels and lancets, plated probes, scalpels, elevators, directors, scoop and other possibly dental scaling/ophalmic instruments, in tooled and gilded leather, plush-lined wallet, engraved on the latch ‘Dr Olioli’ – 18cm. x 3.7cm. x 12cm.

Note: Previously bought at David Stanley Auctions on 26th March, 2011 (Lot 484).
