English, mahogany trunk-type chest with brass fittings, the lifting lid to compartments housing four large, five medium and nine smaller pharmacy bottles with stoppers, some with ‘Mawson & Swan, Chemist, 9 & 13, Mosley Street, Newcastle-on-Tyne’ paper content labels, with brass retaining rod to draw with compartments housing a creamware mortar and pestle, glass and creamware graduated measures, four further glass bottles with stoppers three with aforementioned retail content labels, with removable section housing accessories, beneath a further section with various bottles with cork and bottle stoppers – 33cm. x 27cm. x 14.2cm.
