Magic Lantern Landscapes David Roberts (?)

A quality group of wood-framed landscape-painted slides. The slides are painted to a very high standard, possibly by David Roberts (1796-1864), known to have painted slides for the Royal Polytechnic, along with David Wilkie.

A number of fine, British artists visited Egypt and the Near East to paint.

The quality of the wood-work on these slides is very fine.
