English, c. 1835, unsigned but attributed to Andrew Pritchard, slides (50mm x 16mm) contained in a fine maroon Moroccan leather covered card case lined with green silk, each slide is an air mounted timber section, each slide with bevelled edges and held together with red sealing wax, the labels appear to have been cut from Pritchard's book of 1832, ‘The Microscopic Cabinet’.
