French, mid 19^th Century, by M^on Charriere Collin & C^IE, steel with ebonised handles, two compartments containing cleft palate instruments (incomplete and with substitute scissors) including a cased wire needle holder, metal and lacquered-brass with wheel mechanism and ebony handle together with 7 needles and wire, all contained in mahogany, brass-bound, felt-lined case – 30cm. x 7cm. x 23.5cm.
