English, late 19th century, the ceramic mortar advertising their surgical, chemical and philosophical apparatus etc, the mortar reversible, mortar 9.5cm high, with a pewter vessel, European, with an inner lid and screw top lid with handle, the pierced base with calcium deposits suggest it was immersed in boiling water, 18.5cm high (2)
Condition Report: Mortar with large resin repair to top lip with some replaced wording, pestle good, pewter flask good with no issues, may have been cleaned at some point
