German Scientific Books From NitroGlycerin Aktiebolaget

collection of German Scientific Books all with Ex Libris labels from the the library of 'NITROGLYCERINE AKTIEBOLAGET' which was the laboratory of Alfred Nobel, the books include Verdampfen, Kondensieren und Kulen, 1909; 2 coppies of Auskunftsbuch fur de Chemische Industrie, 1921; Die electrolytischen Metallniederschlage, 1910; Der Kautschuk, 1912; along with two other unrelated German books titled Helge Holst Elektriciteten, 1911

Footnotes: Alfred Bernhard Nobel (21 October 1833 – 10 December 1896) was a Swedish chemist, engineer, inventor, businessman, and philanthropist. He is best known for having bequeathed his fortune to establish the Nobel Prize, though he also made several important contributions to science, holding 355 patents in his lifetime. Nobel's most famous invention was dynamite, a safer and easier means of harnessing the explosive power of nitroglycerin; it was patented in 1867 and was soon used worldwide for mining and infrastructure development.

Alfred founded the company Nitroglycerin Aktiebolaget AB in Vinterviken in 1865
