English, c.1910, signed to dial face 'THE "OWEN" TOPOMETER' and to rear 'ROSS Ltd, 31 COCKSPUR St, S.W., No583', constructed of oxidised brass with lacquered brass fittings, with telescope eyepiece to top, knurled adjusting wheels to internal mirrors, in later fitted mahogany case, 15cm long with telescope extended; Ross Ltd was at this address from 1899 – 1912.
